NATULIQUE is a Danish-formulated color line built around certified organic and naturally derived ingredients. In place of ammonia, it uses a gentler pH adjuster to open the hair cuticle for permanent color and full grey coverage, while still delivering vibrant, long-lasting results. The Natural Colours range spans over 100 shades with complete grey coverage, and the versatile Liquid Colours line — enriched with organic Monoi de Tahiti oil, argan oil, vitamin E, and shea butter — offers 23 shades for glossing, toning, and creative color work. Every formula is vegan, cruelty-free, and free from parabens and harsh sulfates, giving colorists a healthier alternative without compromising on performance.
ARÊTÉ takes its name from the classical philosophical idea of pursuing excellence, and it carries that ethos into its Alchemic Color line — a nearly 90-shade collection created without ammonia, PPDs, resorcinol, gluten, or animal-derived ingredients. The formulas draw on plant butters, rare botanical oils, and antioxidant-rich extracts to protect hair's condition while delivering vibrant, professional-grade results. ARÊTÉ is Leaping Bunny certified for its cruelty-free standards and has earned recognition for sustainable, eco-conscious formulation, offering colorists a clean alternative that doesn't sacrifice performance.
Iles Formula is the creation of Wendy Iles, a celebrity hairstylist, built on a philosophy the brand sums up as minimalism meeting maximum performance. The three-step Haute Performance collection — shampoo, conditioner, and finishing serum — is formulated around botanicals sourced largely from the Amazon, including tucuma palm and pracaxi oil. What distinguishes the line is as much what it leaves out: no silicones, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, proteins, keratin, or bond builders, so nothing coats the hair or builds up over time. It's designed for hair that's dry, damaged, or chemically treated, delivering slip, shine, and manageability without the heaviness those results usually cost.
I chose Iles Formula for the studio because of what it does for hair that's genuinely damaged — the difference is immediate, and sending a client home with hair in better condition than it arrived in is what LUMEN is about.
Cezanne's professional smoothing treatments are formulated without formaldehyde, sulfates, parabens, or other harsh chemicals — using a blend of vegan glyoxylic acid, hydrolyzed keratin, and hydrolyzed quinoa to smooth the cuticle and reduce frizz while strengthening hair from within. The line includes Classic and Classic Blonde treatments that last up to five months, plus faster Express and Express Blonde options for touch-ups between color services, lasting around ten weeks. Available only through licensed salons, Cezanne treatments are designed to deliver salon-quality smoothing and shine without the fumes or damage associated with older-style keratin treatments.
